I'm currently in the process of malicious compliance with a DoorDash policy that says I can't be paid for delivering either order in a stacked offer unless I pick up and deliver both orders. I waited nearly 20 minutes for the first order, 10 minutes after receiving a notification that the second order was ready for pickup, and the first restaurant still had not been able to prepare a chicken tenders combo. I contacted support because the second order is an expensive seafood meal, and the excessive wait was going to impact the second customer. DoorDash Support told me that company policy is that I can't be paid unless I pick up and deliver both orders. Well, I'm glad I chose guaranteed hourly pay today, because DoorDash now has to pay me about $16 just for sitting by this restaurant waiting on those chicken tenders. I think I will observe every speed limit and traffic law very carefully on my way to drop off this food, too.
