I have yet to hear any good explanations about how they are going to enforce this on a mass scale. It sounds like a law to be selectively applied when targeting parents and youth in other cases. "In addition to disrupting public peace with their protest about keeping sex ed in schools, the defendant let their child use TikTok and Instagram where they were exposed to incredibly dangerous unapproved perspectives from outside Florida!", at which point the Christofacist jury can wail and clutch at their pearls.

Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

Oh that’s for the poors to figure out.
Social media sites are expected to just assume everyone is a minor unless they upload a picture of their ID proving they are an adult.
The cynic in me believes this serves two purposes.
The main purpose is obvious, but if the definition of "social media" extends to having the ability to register accounts and leave comments, Pornhub will fit under that umbrella. It would be awfully convenient to force Pornhub to collect ID that can be associated with IP addresses and viewing habits.
The government is so tiny they can deploy it to a phone.
Like nearly everything else DeLoser has signed in the last three years, this too will die in a federal court room.
Why govern when you can spend your whole term vice signaling?
LITTLE RHONDA SANTIS
Get these big gummint republicans all up outta everyone’s nutsacks, ffs.
Wouldn't the only way to enforce this be to require ID verification for social media?
There's always the classic fascist method of randomly charging people for its violation, not targeting political opponents at all, and making people afraid of letting their kids anywhere near social media.
No, you can always pretend! Just like DeSantis pretends to govern with useless garbage laws like this.
Lol. FloridaMan.
This dude is the living embodiment of the “so…I bet you’re real fun at parties” quip.
I thought that was a Chuck Testa for a second. Is that pout permanent now that he knows we know about the shoe lifts?
