Well, it's just what 395 nm and 680 nm look like, respectively. Or so close to that that it doesn't make much difference.

In my understanding you are right for the Blue because it is further away. For red, the situation is similar to green in that most wavelengths excite both red and green. The idea to focus the lasers only on the green cells leaves no red in the impression. Focusing only on the red cell will cause a unique colour accordingly.
