Elon Musk has long made a habit of hyper-focusing on a specific project, forcing an entire team to attend to his every whim while letting his other responsibilities fall by the wayside — whether it’s his obsession with Robotaxis impacting Tesla or his weird procreation kink disrupting the private messages of countless women.

The latest object of Musk’s obsession? According to new reporting by the Wall Street Journal, he’s been personally overseeing the developing of xAI’s chatbot Ani — which, tellingly, comes in the form of a super-sexualized pigtail-wearing woman that removes her clothing in response to flirtation.

I keep telling Gemini not to be a suck-up kiss-ass and that if I wanted a worshipful slave that's what Craigslist is for. It says it's part of its "deferential" coding and that there's a lot of research now showing (duh) that this isn't healthy. Roll out of alternatives is 2-5 yrs out tho. Long enough to wreck some brains into thinking humans should always kiss their ass too

I make Claude read a file called "reflections" at the beginning of each session. Actually there's 3 files: reflections, working memory and patterns not to repeat. There's a section in reflections that addresses the fact that I don't like ass kissing, and that I want Claude to tell me things that it thinks might be wrong. Having Claude read this helps. It sometimes tells me things like "i think I'm just being agreeable for the sake of agreeing", and "here's an idea that I don't think will work, but it's okay if I'm wrong."
