Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I really need to buy a new lens for my camera. This meme explains it all for anyone who would like to ask me why I haven't bought one yet.
Do you or is it just gas?
I have a 50mm lens that came with the camera itself. However, it's not great for long distance shot. I need better and wider lens for that purpose.
Yeah, 50 is nice until you want to zoom. I've found a lot of use with a 70-300 I got cheapish a month or so after getting my first camera but the electronics are becoming less reliable so I'm looking at others in the same range now. Very easy to spend a lot of money but I've been having fun with some weird vintage lenses. Got a 500mm soviet one a couple of months ago and that's surprisingly sharp, I think I spent around £30 on it.
Fair. Something tighter though, no? Secondhand is always the way to go for keeping cost down.
