Look at those ridiculously large pickup trucks and SUVs

I'm pretty sure that's just in America.

SUVs are international and american pickup trucks are becoming more common in Europe, too.

There's literally no room for them.

You'd think that, but people are driving these abominations around anyway. Fucking plague.

You don't visit Europe very often, do you...

And you're seeing SUV's and big trucks everywhere?!

Well, now I'm kinda curious as to where exactly you live.

Germany, outskirts of a mid-sized city. SUVs are probably the most popular category for new cars here, and I've seen stuff like the Dodge Ram sometimes. Some people say that it has genuinely become difficult to find new sedans and station wagons at dealerships, it's all SUVs now. Though some of these SUVs aren't that much bigger than normal cars, it's a pretty wide category.

Fair enough. Germany is one of the few places in Europe that can somewhat accommodate American sized cars.

Guess it comes with the territory of having a major car industry.

I've seen quite a few European countries. Mountain villages with roads so tight that you can barely drive two scooters side-by-side aren't actually that common, you can drive SUVs in most places. It just makes you look like a complete asshole.
