For now, until they force it on everyone and offer a $20/month plan to remove them.
In a couple of years maybe.
Pay 50$ to use your OS without ads, and an extra 5$ to remove preinstalled apps.
I'm not sure it will take that long; Kindles already work on this model.
And this is why we don't use proprietary software, comrades.
(Yes, I am aware FOSS alternatives aren't always a drop-in easy solution and that you can't personal choices your way out of structural issues. I'm a Marxist, of course I understand systemic problems. I'm just saying. At the least, for personal computers that are used for personal computing, unless you need very specific programs and cannot use alternatives, there is a relatively easy and reasonable FOSS solution to OS issues.)
