Who cares who owned them hundreds of years ago, they're historical pieces that everyone should be able to check out, not whoever steals it next. I don't understand the lemmy's view on this.

I'm sure the descendants of who they were stolen from is very concerned about the select few public that either lives near Paris, or can afford to travel there.

Did you not see the party where I said I don't care one way or the other? I would probably care if they were legit art donated by either the artist or the commissioning patron. Excuse me for not having sympathy for the thieves with capital.
