I downloaded it from Aurora Store. I know I can download it from Github through Obtainium but I always run into problems if I use that method. Is FFF private like DDG?

unless someone willing to do the heavy lifting and work full time on one of the forks

It is much more than this. Browsers are massive projects that require a full team of developers working full time to patch out security vulnerabilities. Let alone work on new features.

Nonetheless, the servo and ladybug projects exists. Let's see how far they can go.

I've never heard about servo thanks for showing it to me. On the other hand ladybug is a project being actively developed by a team of 8 developers, so thank you for helping me prove my point.

8 full time developers (plus 40 contributors last month) who have already implemented more than 90% of the standard. Maybe they can make it!

Firefox apparently has 21 million lines of code. I feel stress just knowing that something this monstrously complicated exists on my computer. I can't imagine what it must be like to maintain it.

How many lines does your OS have?
