I guess he's saying the figurehead of the maga regime is a king and we should all bend the knee. But the American people today, showed what we think about kings.

independent states is what any smart capitalist would want. Its easier to scheme and pillage without central oversight.

i would say it's easier to keep your politicians in check if they live closer to where the people are (locally, in the state) instead of in some far-away high-castle.
