Its funny, shocking and sad but people like AI. The average person uses all this AI being added to their apps and they think its a good feature.
We are a minority and not the target audience for these platforms they will keep shoving these features in because thats the platform they want to build and their userbase will keep using it and we'll sit here complaining.
The average person loves how easy AI makes things and I think its going to be a hard sell to move anyone back. Its like uber eats, once you start getting it then it becomes hard to see why you should drive there yourself.
Of course, they see it as wonderful toys as much as meme generators.
And just like Uber, they're getting everybody hooked to inevitably raise prices, add pay walls and subscriptions.
