stop that, that's how he wants you to think of him

he's a dork who gave himself religious delusions from substance abuse, he's not the antichrist. There is no antichrist. Revelations is the dumbest part of the bible, its the ramblings of someone who did the early Roman equivalent of cooking their brain on local political memes.

Just because the biblical antichrist is total hogwash, doesn't mean some delusional fascist billionaire can't become their version of the antichrist. He's basically just made it clear that he wants a diffuse genocide while he locks himself in his bunker.

He's not actually the religious antichrist, not he's gonna do everything he can to replicate the myth because he's absolutely nuts and has control over the largest military industrial state in history.

Calling Revelation “Revelations” is always a sign someone doesn’t know the first thing about it.

I don't see a substantial difference between

the ramblings of someone who did the early Roman equivalent of cooking their brain on local political memes.

and

just some dude shitting on Rome but in code.

The later doesn’t imply any brain cooking beyond bog standard early Christianity.

[–] buckykat@hexbear.net 8 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That is a significant amount of brain cooking

[–] fannin@hexbear.net 1 points 2 weeks ago

I don’t disagree but it’s not unique

Alright but consider that Revelation is one of the most consistently entertain parts of the bible.
