Among all the begging emails, I'd like one to show me where the money was spent, in detail. Paying lawyers for people fighting unfair prosecution? Awesome. Covering catering for unproductive meetings? Fuck You.
As someone who spent about a decade volunteering for campaigns as a canvasser and phone banker, a very polite "fuck you, too".
I'm far less upset at the "unproductive meetings" (every campaign has them) and a tad more upset at Mark Penn paying himself a cool $7.6M out of the VC firm that props up liberal consulting groups, called Stagwell Inc. Talk about "paid to lose". Dems have a pyramid scheme sixty stories tall tasking the most odious losers in the business with marketing their abysmal performance as a lynch-pin of success.
