In France things are changing and now if you get sick during your paid holiday with a doctor note you can postpone your holidays.
How much do you get per year?
Like 9 days and some odd hours. We have sick pay days but they dont kick in unless you are sick for 3 days straight because of a "waiting period"

I got 25 days here when I was an intern.... And that's not including bank holidays either
