While Trump was walking around the UN, some of his entourage ran ahead up the escalator triggering the emergency stop just as Melania stepped onto the escalator. Trump posted and ranted about it as an awful and deliberate attack against him
He ranted about the escalator front of the UN, and was apparently bitter hus bid to build the UN wasn't selected.
