I wouldn't call it "just trolling". He's normalizing supporting Hitler. What he says and does has a tangible impact on the world. It allows bona fide Hitler supporting neo-Nazis to openly support Hitler, then just make the same claim as Jones when challenged

Once it gets normalized enough, they drop the plausible deniability

True that. They're not fully mutually exclusive though. I'm just saying that I think he's doing it more for the attention than because he's decided this is the best way to promote Naziism. The Naziism he decides to openly promote is usually more disguised than this, I think most of even his audience would be more likely to be turned off by this (if they took it seriously) than taken in by it.
