Also: most American wedding reception traditions like The Electric Slide and The Chicken Dance. Do better. I once went to a reception where everyone did The Time Warp and it was amazing.

Are Electric Slide and Time Warp in different buckets? I've never considered them to be.
That's because they're songs that get people on the floor dancing. Macarena Gangnam Style got similar play for that reason.
It wore on me so hard that I can't even listen to Imagine Dragons anymore. I just don't like their sound anymore after my brain got fried with that track repeatedly. I did some of it to myself. The world then continued shoving it down my throat.
It took my old ass way too long to realize that you were talking about the Imagine Dragons song (which was definitely overplayed) and not the absolute banger of a song from The Firm.
