Yeah, the point of the ship is to shut up the protestors congratulations on figuring this one out
You realise folks here are excited because the people forced the Italian government to do something, and that shows they have the power to force them to do something again, right? Nobody thinks the fascists are doing this of anything other than fear of the domestic response. Sure this is just theatrics to placate protests, but then if something else happens to the flotilla with an Italian warship just standing by, you think everybody who was out on the streets Italy is just going to shrug their shoulders?
I am sure the italians who saw RESULTS of their strike will be deinvested when the government actively challenges. Especially if that government has been continuing to fail to improve their lives. They are already organized and in action.
