I liked this way more than I thought I would. Given the 18 minute runtime, I think this was great. It even got me a little emotional Could it have developed more of everything? Definitely, but I think this got everything across it needed with the time it had. I would love to see a full film of this though. I'd be very interested to see more of the world. There's clearly more than they were able to show. I think the SEA cultural influences are so cool and I think it's a unique take on isekai. The Naga looks incredible.

Kevin Penkin's music really elevated the whole thing. Man, can this dude write amazing soundtracks.
