I read people are doing it because they (incorrectly) think that LLM’s can’t be trained with their “gibberish”
Huh. I hadn’t heard anything about that, but that’s interesting. Seems strange to me as, if anything, an LLM would be better equipped to interpret that than most people lol
Now I wish OP actually responded to my comment because now I have a handful of theories with no answer. I am leaning towards them importing a different letter into their English keyboard that's now autocorrecting or something.
