They don't have generations. Fascism is not sustainable and always burns out, and I really doubt that the cluster of clowns running this program are going to be the ones to break that record. The only questions are, how long it will take, and how bad it will get.

Unfortunately, neoliberalism provides the perfect medium for it to fester and eventually return.

Putin has been in power for almost one generation, and his administration is looking very much like it is about to flame out. Putin is also more intelligent than anybody in the Trump administration, certainly more than Trump himself.
