Pls everyone be aware this is not saying to not use a VPN. It's just saying a VPN is one part of a secure setup. You should use a VPN and also use seperate browsers for different online "identities". For example a browser for any mainstream social media(which i wouldnt use but u do u), banking apps, and anything else attached to your real ID. A seperate one for anything you want to have anonymous. VPNs do help significantly it's just not a one click solution to privacy.
i use librewolf and zen for all the shit i'd rather keep under wraps, and firefox for my normal business. to REALLY be secure you could also install a virtual machine and use it for your anonymous dealings.
