One contributing factor is that this falloff happens every single year and people simply have less time to watch in late August and September, but as the video explains this trend is only present on Desktop Devices after a very specific date indicating something changed.
Its the first I've seen with actual data. Its interesting to say the least.
It would be good if people could be convinced to fill out a poll after seeing a video in large enough numbers to prove if the views simply aren't being counted, but that's next to impossible.
