It's so annoying that political violence is now literally assassinating someone instead of, I don't know, denying people lifesaving medicine, tearing people away from their families and putting them in concentration camps, disproportionately putting non whites in jail, the hundreds of mass shooters who were enthusiastically conservative, forcing people to have babies even if it kills them and the baby in the process... there are so many examples of violence, torture and death that happen to tens of thousands of people in the US every day explicitly because of a political decision made by politicians at the behest of the ruling class, not to mention what US policy does abroad, but somehow none of that is political violence and so it is an acceptable form of violence.
