Priests are mandated report crimes outside of confession.
just so its clear, the father and the "priest" were not the same person.
So what? Priests and pastors are different things.
I'm also guessing "pastor" doesn't mean "seminary trained, regular background checks, psychologically evaluated, tested for competence, and examined by others to discern call in a denomination that requires pastors act like mandatory reporters" but instead means "Bubba says the Bible good and hates the right folks."
This is Utah, are they not Mormons?
In Mormonism, all adult men have the priesthood.
Yeah this is America, protestants rarely bother with such frivolous "qualifications" here
