let me guess, despite throwing the weapon down, he still has the gun on him, is wearing the exact same clothes, and was carrying a convenient manifesto along with a tattoo of the crime scene on his back.

Dude was able to evade the FBI for nearly 48 hours and he's still hanging out in Utah?

right.

It is very likely that he fully expected to have been killed after the shooting, and so he didn't have a long-term plan for survival.

You're right about part of it. They're saying the clothes he was wearing when arrested were consistent.

You know, jeans, a T-shirt, and a hat.
