Rules:
1. Be civil
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.
2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious right or left wing sources will be removed at the mods discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted seperately but not to the post body.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.
Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

"I'm all for violence and hate, just not towards me. I want to spread hate and fear, as I'm a soldier for my beliefs. But not when there's a slightest chance of risk for my own safety involved. I only want to harm others while being safe myself."
It seems that they have definitely started to show themselves so much more that TACO is in office now.
I suppose people are starting to notice.
"But I thought only Republicans had guns. I only want to target defenseless minorities. I'm not willing to die for this cause!"
I would laugh so hard if the person responsible turned out to be a republican... again.
It would be extra great if the shooter was a pardoned Jan. 6 insurrectionist.
It would be nice extra great if he never got caught, and all MAGAs would all have to worry that there's a sniper out there waiting to kill them at any moment.
How come cops are so incompetent nowadays? I thought they were only hiring the best, and now they can barely catch, what, four shooters now?
They stood around for Uvalde, took them a short time to catch the Highland Park guy, Luigi went on the run for days…
It’s fun when they can’t even hide their incompetence.
I remember back when Columbine happened, and while the shooters were thought to be there in the school actively killing students, the cops were moving around aimlessly, chatting and laughing in little groups, like it was a weekend cop picnic. I was outraged by the lack of concern or urgency.
Decades later, it was the same thing at Uvalde, except we had video of them inside the school, and saw how absolutely cowardly they were.
It was the same at Parkland, where the school security officer cowered outside, and then talked other cops out of entering, as they stood outside with their guns, and listened to the killer murder innocent, unarmed students, one after another.
All those years, and nothing had changed. Cops are just as cowardly and useless today as they've always been.
Because anyone who was competant in the FBI was fired as woke.
Someone pointed out the Uvalde police larpers did not engage for 144 minutes, which is also the run time of the smash Marvel vampire hit Morbius, and I think that completely explains their actions.
My head would explode.
They would just say that that he donated a dollar at the grocery store check out line to help a children's hospital when he was 12, so he's a liberal.
Statistically... Most radicalized loonies are Republicans or have similar beliefs.
Edit: I mean, no sane person would actually grab a gun and kill a public figure. (not that I'm complaining now, or with Luigi)
