Yeah look at Germany and the Reichstag Fire. If we don't do anything, the Nazis will eventually just trigger a false flag anyway to do what they want once they are in position.
The Reichstag fire probably did have the personal involvement of the communist guy they ultimately convicted, though there's lots of reason to believe the Nazis were also directly involved in a false-flag capacity because he probably couldn't have made that big a fire that quickly with his lighter (along with a handful of other factors, like his seemingly being either drugged or brain-damaged at trial).
Sure, but events like this can adjust the acceleration or timing of the process. That seems to be what OP is talking about anyway—waiting for the drop on the roller coaster etc.
i disagree. the acceleration happens when fascists decide it happens. if an organic event doesn't do it, they produce one. there can be 50 events like this or 0. it wouldnt change their plans either way
So what you're saying is that when the cops descend on this school in a few days and then many other schools, they would have already been doing exactly that on the same timeline in a world where this didn't happen?
im saying if that happens then all it means is the trump admin didnt have to go through with its false flag first
Aside from the fact that this is almost certainly not a false flag, by your logic there should never be a reason to have a false flag or some other trigger. Why do they go through with something that is objectively somewhat risky if it just doesn't do anything? Were WMDs and the Second Gulf of Tonkin Incident just fabricated for a jape? Did the actual Reichstag fire precede those "emergency powers" by coincidence? Were the false flags in Gladio just sort of a hobby? There are more examples but you get the idea, along with real incidents like this one or -- and this is much more extreme, I wouldn't say they are remotely comparable in scale -- 9/11, which was instrumental in manufacturing consent for the Patriot Act and the War on Terror. Again, you get the idea and I'm already sort of bloviating, so sorry about that.
My point is that this sort of "nuanced" take is reductionist to the point of fantasy and idealism. Obviously the Patriot Act wasn't spawned directly from 9/11, there was more going on that was effectively in preparation for it, but for the actual passage of something as extreme as the Patriot Act on the truncated time frame that we saw, you need something like that to stoke public fear.
