Also, conservatives are not a monolith. There are right wingers who hated him and that's probably who did this given the suspected boomer who was arrested. They think they'll all unite under one umbrella and chill on the Mall while liberal states get nuked. It's going to be Nazis taking out other Nazis for not being Nazi in the correct way.

I know that like two of the Trump would-be assassins were basically Republicans who wanted to shoot him because they were bored and disaffected, but still why would a Republican boomer hate Kirk this much? Do they not see him as being useful? Why even bother shooting him and no a Dem or someone?
