Finally visiting China at least. But "review" may just be procedural gaslighting that was scheduled when Canada was told to copy tariffs by Sullivan.

To OP's credit they used a archived mirror and there's not much other sources reporting on it as of now.

But I do want point out that Post Media aside from their biases is actually just shoddy journalism.

China’s decision to levy a 76 per cent tariff on canola seed has been viewed as coming in direct response to Canada’s levy on Chinese electric vehicles.

Sept. 2024 - China has been pretty upfront about it be retaliatory response.

China said on Tuesday it plans to start an anti-dumping investigation into canola imports from Canada, after Ottawa moved to impose tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, lifting prices of domestic rapeseed oil futures to a one-month peak.
