If a family member puts their body on the line in defense of someone who is trying to destroy you and everyone (else) you love, then wouldn't you be willing to shoot them too? If you're defending yourself against a person and your friend/family member helps your attacker, then they're attacking you too and you have a right to defend yourself regardless of your prior relation to them. And yes, we are constantly defending ourselves against capitalism every single day of our lives.

Not the world, just capitalism, the State, racism, cisheteropatriarchy, and all forms of hierarchy and domination. The world is so much more than how we dominate each other. Obviously I don't want to literally burn down every single building or structure...but we definitely should be burning down the prisons, jails, courthouses, Wall St., i.e. those buildings which are designed to dominate others.

And again, I don't want to rule literally anything. I want to be an equal partner in the project of human liberation. But I'm not afraid to fight for our freedom, even if violence is necessary. Yours too.

I don't want bloodshed, and I fucking guarantee you that if you start drawing blood, by the time that it's finished, you will have lost so much that even a victory will be pyhrric at best.

I don't want bloodshed either. Not that the capitalists deserve such grace, but I would be literally thrilled to sit down with all the capitalists and all my fellow working class comrades and peacefully hash out the liberation of humanity as equals over dinner. But:

1. That's not happening. They're not gonna sit down and let us talk them out of power. They're monsters! That's how they got into that position!
2. Even if they did agree to sit down with us, they have already started the bloodshed. They're still doing the bloodshed. Every passing moment these capitalist fucks kill more and more innocent people and destroy the futures of everyone else. So such a hypothetical "peaceful hashing out" would ultimately reinforce capitalists and their will because it still would not be a real debate amongst parties with equal power.

Point being: we have to take back the world from them. It's not gonna be voluntary for them. It's not gonna be easy. It's not gonna be fun. It's not gonna be legal. It's not gonna conform to liberal ideals. It does NOT necessarily have to be violent, but let's be real, the capitalists will probably force us to defend ourselves from them, and the alternative is the worse violence of the status quo which is invisible to people privileged enough to be shielded from it.

That's why, just start taxing, and hard.nthst will eliminate all the power without the need for blood, it will make us all equal while keeping a system in place that can generate wealth the best way

In addition to cash, the State has the monopoly on violence, control over the economy, de-facto control over the media, domestic police and all branches of the military, control over who gets to starve, control over who gets to get medical care, etc., etc. Increasing taxes are neither necessary nor sufficient for solving the problems caused by every other form of domination (although I obviously don't oppose taxing the rich because I don't oppose taking anything from the rich at all).

I.e., the capitalists control access to the resources of the world and the means to produce goods. The problem is private ownership of these resources and means of production.

All of this to say: we don't need any more milquetoast liberalism. We don't need people who ask for nothing and then get even less. Please at least ask for something. If you really can't fuck with revolution, if you're absolutely dead set on being a reformist, then at least ask for something cool.

Lastly, it is my view that while we need a diversity of tactics, we currently have too many "peaceful doves" who ask for nothing. Please understand that "peaceful doves" only ever work because they're the alternative to the "whoop-ass", i.e. they talk to people like you because they're scared of people like my comrades. All of this is to say: the "peaceful doves" and violent people need to collaborate. I.e., if you're going to be a reformist, then please ask for radical reforms in cahoots with the revolutionaries!
