I don't know why you're not upset that they present it as a fact when they only tested on one machine with AMD hardware to come to a general conclusion as if it applied to all hardware.

You don't need to defend some random OS.

I don't see the issue with testing it using fixed hardware, they made that clear in the article.

I'm not defending some random OS, the facts presented speak for themselves. Stop projecting.
