processed in Iowa

They always talk like this. Everyone always talks like this. We know cattle doesn’t magically turn into meat, so who are you trying to fool? Yourself?

Your all american freedom borger was slaughtered in Iowa. Is that so hard to say?

i don't think "processed" is (primarily) serving as a euphemism here, cows are slaughtered, butchered, off-cut meat is ground up, mixed with whatever sawdust and other stuff they're allowed to put in it, and depending on the supply chain they may even be forming the burger patties and searing fake grill lines onto them prior to flash-freezing and packaging for shipping to the restaurant.
