I get that it's a neat browser, but I don't understand how people can continue supporting it after such blatant disregard for user agency.

Wasn’t aware of that. Good to know. Youtube is the solitary thing I use it for and I don’t navigate outside the site for merch/product links, but that is some scummy Honey nonsense right there.

Time to look around for an alternative. Thanks!

Idk about the alt browser but for downloading there's ytdl on pc and ytdlnis on android.
