this is why i have more face value trust with non-maga republicans and libertarians; they're atleast more honest with themselves and realistic about reality than democrats or liberals.
60 years later and things haven't changed.
that's why malcom x isn't taught in primary schools.
I don't know that much about US politics, but I remember the shock, when many people voted for PiS because “at least it's not PO and they surely won't implement all those ridiculous policies” and after being voted in, the politicians actually started implementing those ridiculous policies
the only thing you have to know about US poltics is that this literally happens literally every single time between democrats & republicans and that americans are generally unaware that democrats had solidified republican's ridiculous policies the last time around.
atm, there's no greater example of this than the deportations that are currently happening under trump; american liberals/democrats are unaware that biden and obama have deported more people than trump ever has (even with ICE raids and the detention centers like gator alcatraz) and that was was a policy that the republicans started.
Where can I read more about it?
run a google search for "deporter in chief" to read about obama's legacy in this regard
then add "children" to it to learn how the obama administration targeted children with A LOT of them no having legal counsel; no parents/guardians; nor even the ability to defend themselves because they couldn't speak english or understand what was happening to them in court.
then replace "children" with "trump" and you can see how they compare with each other.
