Had a 1 on 1 with my manager yesterday. He's says my perfectionism delays shit too long, but also realizes it's good when harnessed correctly bcz my work is solid. Just wish I could figure out where to do shit work to come in on time on my tasks. Going to start next week.

Does your manager give you deadlines, even if just in theory? I have an adjacent issue where I'll do great work for as long as it takes me to do it. But if I have a deadline, I know I can't delay to meet that goal. Typically the sooner the better
