Hey, you two seem to be having an animated discussion, but it's still a discussion. I appreciate that. This comment is getting into hating on the user territory by calling them hopeless. This is a warning.
So, let me get this straight. I call out a person playing defense for fascists by scoring into own goal, call them useless, I get a warning.... But they are literally all caps screaming, cursing, throwing unsubstantiated insults and calling me transphobic because I'm not being zealous enough.... still posting.
Make it make sense.
EDIT: LOL, their bio literally admits that they're only on Lemmy because they got banned multiple times from Reddit for being violent... and here they are, on Lemmy, screaming, cursing, losing their shit... learning nothing.... not banned.
This is tough on me. I'm not trans so I don't understand all the nuances. Plus, I agree with you, so I'm hesitant because I might be biased. They reported you awhile ago. I really thought you two were making good points and discussing. I might just lock the thread.
Again, I agree with you. I don't think they're trolling, I think they're angry and don't want to be wrong. I've fought with them myself and was on your side.
Don't blame trans people for YOU abandoning them for the sake of pragmatism. GAVIN decided to abandon trans people. The fact you're playing cover for him makes you transphobic. He's not the candidate yet. This isn't about ego and pride, this is about ELECTING SOMEONE WHO ISN'T A FUCKING BIGOT. THAT'S THE BAR. IT IS LITERALLY UNDERGROUND.
