Honestly, switching to amd is a better solution than trying to shoehorn a device into an ecosystem who's creators aren't aligned with it. Nvidia and their GPUs continue to be this giant sore spot for Linux all because of Nvidia's choices. Continuing to contribute to their monopoly and anti consumer practices won't be changing anything either, but folks eat up the hype for their over priced crap because tech YouTubers tell you to.
