Being a communist has never once affected my sex life in a negative way. I’ve told women that I listened to Joe Rogan before (I was a fan in his pre Spotify days) and also never affected it.

The only time those things have stopped me from getting laid is when I get too drunk and start demanding excitedly that they read some books I’ve read. I also do this with sci-fi though so I think it’s not so much the media I ingest as my personality that unseals the deal.

I can't count the times I've inadvertently slowed (never stopped!) an intimate moment from becoming much more intimate because I got excited about a new book I'm reading.
