I have owned 3 m91s. One of them was an 1897. Had silver bolsters. Was a damn fine rifle. Accurate too. Got called Daniel Boone a few times but fuck em. I loved that damn rifle.

7.62x54r is ballistically just a soviet 30-06. Similar weight. Similar speed.
