You gotta admit, that kind of attendance is pretty unheard of. Everyone would have taken at least a few days of in a typical year.

Tbh there are times when he probably SHOULD have taken time off. It's certainly an achievement, but he probably sacrificed his health and that of those around him to get there.

that is fair, i know in many places fast food can still be a real job

in the us it is fucking slavery with extra steps and government subsidization

Uh, no? I've worked some shit jobs, and none that would fire you for getting sick, not for a few days. Even Lowe's chained your sick days together. Sick one day? Sick for 5 days? All the same.

Not that we got paid, but we wouldn't get fired. If your job is that shit, another awaits.

if only it was always that easy

it takes some shot decisions or bad luck to get to the point but plenty of Americans cannot afford to lose that minimum wage job
