quickly types an incriminating note on my computer and checks that the never dying battery is correctly installed
With how 4 actually has generators you can get fusion batteries from, they totally could have made some terminals power off if you've disconnected the battery before checking them. Sometimes it does turn off lights, but it's not even consistent with that.
Its been a while, but if i remember correctly even when the lights turn off it's only for a couple seconds and then they come back on.
