That's a very "Marvel-esque" viewpoint. Russia has the upper hand, it isn't going to stop until it has the 4 oblasts, Ukrainian neutrality with NATO, and Ukraine stops oppressing ethnic Russians in Ukrainian territories. You don't need "Russian troll farms," this is a very basic and grounded understanding of the situation.

Let me speak slowly, tovarisch. The only reason it’s a “proxy war” is because Russia invaded Ukraine and seized land. Russia leaves, no more war.

It's a proxy war because the US overthrew the democratically elected Ukrainian gov in 2014 and installed their own russophobic puppet gov and has been pushing for Russia to get into a war since and finally succeeded when Russia had to defend itself against further NATO aggression/expansionism by the US
