Gotta keep saying it until people stop using his photos for memes.

I'm out of the loop, what happened with Snoop?

He embraced Trumps inauguration by performing at the MAGA "Crypto Ball" in celebration of him.

Unless more happened, he performed for Trump. I don't think he supports Trump, but he is a massive sellout.

always has been. he's a party rapper. there's avenues of rappers. he's there to make tracks to get the party going. his music is meant to be unchallenging while selling whatever aesthetic the people will buy. playing for trump was absolutely a step too far, but it's not a betrayal, not really. it's just a continuation of who he's always been and what his career represents.

Yeah, that's why I wasn't really surprised when he did it. Disappointed, but not surprised.

I mean, he's a human being. I felt betrayed by everyone else who supported Trump's inauguration too, and everyone who voted for him. Every last one can go chew on broken glass as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think his early songs were unchallenging. He was very into the crips vs bloods rap and bad mouthing police.

Obviously he eventually changed and sold out, but I don't think he started that way.
