Holy shit, even attempting a marathon within a year of running is super impressive. Did you have an athletic background in other sports? I've been running regularly since 2020 and the longest race I've completed was a very slow 10k. And I actually played a lot of sports growing up but long distance running is so challenging for me (was more into sports with short bursts of speed).
