a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.

Historically democracy has included those in which only an eligible portion of the population votes in contrast to monarchy or autocracy where nobody does. It's not my fault you don't know what words mean.

It's also weird that you think America going to absolute shit won't make it more dangerous to the world.
