Oh wow a quote from the Brookings Insitution that they could be using it more. Said in the most mealy-mouthed way. Their goal is just to make every public program worse and worse and worse in the name of "fiscal responsibility" and "tough decisions" and then let them get privatized and sold off to the most greedy and rapacious rent seekers. But theyre too afraid to say it because they know doing so is godawful and kills people, and that they would rightly be stripped of their positions and influence in any real system of justice.
