Actually animals went on trial a lot in Medieval times, particularly pigs, and most often for murder. Domesticated pigs were apparently a lot more aggressive back then and frequently killed people, often children, and they actually put them on trial for this.
clearly its being a working mom, even now during the trial she has to nurse on the stand! such cruelty
