I feel like the sort of people that want to close libraries, want to close libraries because people use them.
Or because they're afraid that people will start using them!
Some "i am very intelligent" types think they are a waste of resources since the internet exists, and everyone can just pay a monthly fee to access all the data they need.
Yet the trillions wasted on defense structure and the prison system is totally fine yep yep no problem. Its the evil libraries.
