I'll go first.

Background

Back in Sunday school, some decades ago; I read a story of Joshua that during a battle, he stopped the sun at high noon to finish the battle.

Plot

All of a sudden, the earth stops rotating on its own axis for reasons that are out of me mind (they ain't paying me enough goddammit)One side is left baking on the sun, while the other is in total darkness.

  • The inertia of stuff as earth comes to a stop
  • Ocean tsunami on coastal areas
  • The climate changes following after that
  • How society struggles, changes, and adapts to this f*ckd up situation. From both sides.
  • Yes, there are sides now. Good luck, NATO, UN
